Privacy Policy

// LAST UPDATED · JANUARY 2026

BikeInSpace ("we", "us", "the magazine") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this site, our subscription and contact forms, and our magazine subscriptions; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Provided directly

Collected automatically

2. How we use it

3. Legal basis

Where GDPR applies we process personal data on the basis of (a) the performance of a subscription contract, (b) your consent for marketing communications, and (c) our legitimate interests in running and improving the magazine.

4. Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us operate — our email delivery provider, our hosting provider, our analytics provider, our print fulfilment partner and our payment processor — bound by written agreements that limit their use of the data to instructed purposes.

5. International transfers

Where data is transferred outside its country of origin, we rely on appropriate legal mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep subscriber data for as long as you remain subscribed. After unsubscribe, we keep a minimal suppression record so we don't accidentally mail you again. Subscription and inquiry records are retained for the period required by accounting and editorial standards.

7. Your rights

Subject to local law, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability or restriction of your personal data, object to processing, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, write to privacy@bikeinspace.com.

8. Unsubscribe

Every marketing email we send carries a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also unsubscribe at any time via our unsubscribe page. Opt-out requests are honoured within 48 hours, in line with CAN-SPAM, CASL and GDPR.

9. Cookies

Our website uses a minimal set of essential and analytics cookies. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

10. Children

The magazine is intended for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

11. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to subscribers in advance.
